World of wildlife

A set of 10 Special Stamps, each themed around celebrating the diversity of British birds, mammals, insects and fish, are available to purchase today, Wednesday 13 July.

In collaboration with Cardiff University Professor, Steve Ormerod, we’ve created an array of wildlife centred stamps to offer a window into a world of freshwater nature.

‘The UK’s rivers and riversides are beautiful to look at, but how many of us stop to think about how they came to exist in the first place? In these stamps we celebrate our unique natural environment with a strong focus on the rich variety of creatures that live in and alongside our rivers,’ David Gold, director of external affairs and policy.
