In the shadows of the home of the British Grand Prix, colleagues showed they are ready to help drive our transformation.

Just four postmen and women work at Silverstone SPDO in Northamptonshire, and that has fostered a unity and togetherness perfect for the involvement we need from everyone as part of our Change Story.

Senior channels manager Paul Smith talked the colleagues, led by delivery office manager Rakesh Shah, through why the business needs to change with the help of CEO Stuart Simpson.

Postwoman Alison Walker said: ‘It was a very informative session. I’m looking forward to seeing what the actual change will be.

‘The business needs to work more effectively as the company is losing money.’

The team spoke of the rising numbers of parcels they have seen in recent years – accelerated by Covid-19. A need to transform their office to be better equipped for that is desired.

‘I have felt we have been a bit forgotten in the past in this office, perhaps because we get on with it, so it’s really good to be on this journey,’ said postwoman Tara Ameye.
