Tunnel of love

All aboard the love train…

Join London’s Postal Museum for a late-night, adults only opening of their immersive underground Mail Rail attraction on Valentine’s Day.

Get cosy on their very own love train with a glass of prosecco and then discover love stories from their 500-year-old archive.

There are lessons in love as the museum’s curators reveal romantic letters between long-distance lovers, secret messages and on the less romantic side ‘Vinegar Valentines’ sent by cheeky Victorians. You can also get creative and write a letter to a loved one (romantic or otherwise) at their letter writing station.

Want to share the love? Help to combat loneliness by creating, writing and sending a non-romantic Valentine’s card to a stranger with Mental Health Collective’s #GreatBritishValentine.

Tickets include:

  • A complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival (soft drink alternative available)
  • A ride on Mail Rail (last boarding 20.00)
  • A cash bar will be available throughout the evening for guests to purchase drinks

Remember, as part of our sponsorship deal for Mail Rail, current Royal Mail employees are entitled to one free admission to the museum (including a ride on Mail Rail). All you need to do is book online in advance and select the ‘Royal Mail staff’ option. Then on the day, bring your valid Royal Mail colleague ID. This does not apply to the Valentine’s night offer.
