The July issue

Ready to roll – the launch of Later Acceptance Times

The July edition of Courier will be landing at homes from Friday 27 July.

In your latest issue we look at how the rollout of Later Acceptance Times (LATs) for Tracked 24 is beginning across the UK.

This represents the delivery of a significant element of our agreement with CWU.

Our enhanced Tracked 24 offering means we can accept items into our distribution centres later into the evening, up to 1.30am, for next-day delivery.

Thank you for everything

Participants in this year’s Ops Fundraising Challenge raised an incredible total of £378,000 for our charity partner, Action for Children, including matched funding.

Action for Children’s head of corporate engagement Mary O’Hagan, said: ‘We are incredibly thankful to every Royal Mail and Parcelforce employee who has organised any event or activity in the last few months.’

Also in the issue:

  • Partnership & Matching shares – a new employee benefit offers eligible colleagues a flexible and tax advantaged way to invest in Royal Mail shares
  • The power of team – For the next stop in our ‘We Are Royal Mail’ tour, we headed to Warrington mail centre
  • Our charity heroes - The efforts of some of the colleagues who work tirelessly to support our in-house charity, the Rowland Hill Fund, are rewarded. See more here.

And finally, our Let’s Connect scheme offers colleagues the latest on-the-move or home technology products from Apple, Samsung, HP and more. It’s a simple way to buy MacBooks, iPads, smart TVs and laptops with convenient, affordable payments.
