Fund’s fantastic year

Our in-house charity is going from strength-to-strength

It has been a record-breaking year for our in-house charity, the Rowland Hill Fund.

Thanks to the generosity of Royal Mail colleagues, £145,000 was raised in the last financial year – the highest amount ever.

The Fund supports colleagues, past and present, and their dependents. It can provide financial help with rent, mortgage and utility bill arrears, home modifications, hospital travelling expenses and much more. Last year, it helped 420 people.

One of them was Nigel Dye, a postman at St Helens delivery office, and his son Joshua.

Play the video below to hear Nigel’s story, and listen to fund manager Mary Jeffrey explain why your support is vital.

If you, or someone you know needs financial help from the Fund, please call the Feeling First Class helpline on 0345 600 4586, select option 1, then option 4.
