POP IN A POUND

Do you have a collection tin or donations at your office, Mail Centre or Delivery Office?

Our partnership with Action for Children ends in March. It is a legal requirement that any funds raised in aid of Action for Children are banked. These funds cannot be later donated to other charities.

Before you send in your final collection why not do a last whip around and see if anyone would like to pop in a pound to help us reach our £2 million target! Money raised via this route will be matched penny for penny by Royal Mail.

If you don't have a collection tin but would still like to donate, you can pop in a pound to our virtual collection tin here

How do I pay in my collection tin?

Option 1: Paying in at the Post Office.

You can use a paying in slip to pay in cash at any Post Office. Please fill out the short form below to request some to be sent to you.

Option 2: Paying in online.

  1. Gather the collection tin and in a secure location and in the presence of another person, open the tin and count donations.
  2. Complete section 1 and 2 of the ‘Royal Mail Collection Tin form’. Click here (docx, 45.89 KB) to download the form.
  3. Visit our dedicated Sponsor Me page here to make your online donation.
  4. Please note that Gift Aid is NOT applicable for collection tins so please do not tick the Gift Aid box when making your donation on Sponsor Me.
  5. When entering the donation information on the Sponsor Me page please make sure to add the payment reference from section 3 on the Collection Tin form.
  6. Email your completed Collection Tin form to Royalmail@actionforchildren.org.uk
