Ramadan 2025

Ramadan Mubarak

Ramadan has begun today, Friday 28 February – this is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and one of the five pillars of Islam.

From the early hours of this morning, the practice of fasting from both food and water during daylight hours will continue until Eid on Sunday 30 March.

There is relevant information in our religious prayer and observance guide. You can also print out this poster with instructions, to show where the Qibla is in a designated multi-faith or quiet space.

As the holy month of Ramadan begin, we’re acknowledging and recognising the significance of this observance for our Muslim colleagues. Ramadan is a time of reflection, fasting, prayer, and community for Muslims around the world.

We want to wish all our Muslim colleagues a blessed Ramadan. Ramadan Mubarak! May this month be filled with peace, reflection, and spiritual growth for you and your families.

During this time, we understand that our employees observing Ramadan may have different needs. We want to remind everyone of our company's policies and accommodations in place to support our colleagues during this month. This includes flexible working hours, understanding for adjusted break times for prayers, and any other accommodations needed. Please reach out to your manager if you require any specific support or have questions.

Whether you are practicing Ramadan yourself or have colleagues who are, please acknowledge and support them during this spiritual time. Let's also take this opportunity to foster a culture of respect and support for one another. We encourage all team members to show understanding and empathy towards those observing Ramadan.

Once again, Ramadan Mubarak to all our Muslim colleagues. Your contributions to our team are valued and acknowledged.
