NAW 2025

It’s National Apprenticeship Week and at Royal Mail we are celebrating the fantastic opportunities that we offer across the business.
This annual week of recognition brings together businesses and apprentices to celebrate and shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy. It’s part of the Department for Education’s ongoing Skills for Life campaign which is engaging young people, adult learners, and employers with government skills and training programmes and the opportunities they bring.

At Royal Mail, we’ve been championing apprenticeships for years and we recognise that one size does not fit all, which is why we offer a range of different pathways and opportunities to ensure colleagues can benefit from an apprenticeship no matter where they are in their career journey. We’re proud to have been selected to be members of the National Apprenticeship Week Supporters Club for the second year running; a club made up of organisations who inspire and influence people to choose apprenticeships as a route to create business and individual success.
For our early talent opportunities, we hired more than 100 young professionals into our organisation last year and we will treble that this year! There’s a huge range available across the business including: Operations, Parcelforce, Fleet, National Distribution, Engineering, Transformation, HR, Technology, and Finance, all meaningful opportunities for young people to kickstart their career with us.
There’s also our popular Scholar programme open to applications for managerial-grade colleagues. Scholar offers high-quality apprenticeships which will help develop the skills you need to take your career to the next level or be the best you can be in your current role.
We’re passionate about apprenticeships at Royal Mail, and we want you to be too.
Involved in apprenticeships? We’d love to hear more. Whether you’re on a future talent programme, studying an apprenticeship alongside your role or a manager, we ask that you promote and share your experience with colleagues across the business. Share your story on Workplace and within your own teams.
Do you know anyone who is looking to start their career or searching for a new opportunity? We are hosting an external webinar for young people to hear about our programmes, work experience and participate in a mini skills session to support building #skillsforlife. Share the link for people to register for the webinar here, and please share our vacancies which can be found here, with your network, family and friends.
For those in managerial grade roles and eligible to apply for our Scholar programme, you will receive an email sharing more details on the apprenticeships on offer and how to apply.
