Your Money...

StepChange are a not-for-profit independent charity, helping thousands of people become debt free every year. Their team of experts offer free, flexible debt advice to anyone who needs it.
They can help you make sense of your finances. StepChange don't judge, and will provide you with the support, guidance, flexibility and solutions that are needed to deal with debt. Whatever the situation, they will look for practical solutions to make your life better.
How do StepChange help?
- Debt advice. They will ask about your current situation to understand what help is right for you.
- A plan to deal with your debts. Tailored advice based on your circumstances.
- Take it at your own pace. You can always take a break and come back later.
No-one needs to know you have come to StepChange for help, and this does not affect your credit file. They do not share your information or tell anyone they are helping you – unless you ask them to.
You can complete the whole debt advice process online, without picking up the phone. They are also there to take your call if you prefer to speak to someone. Once you have gone through the process with them, you will have an action plan designed just for you.
Line managers and Wellbeing Ambassadors can make a confidential referral to StepChange, if you tell them you have money worries.
If you would rather not discuss this with a colleague, you can use the Money Health Check. This information is not shared with Royal Mail.
Join the ‘all colleagues’ Teams Step Change session on 4 February at 14:00 to hear more about the service and how they can help you.
All the information you need to get started is available on the Wellbeing Hub.
