‘It would be hard to have Christmas without Royal Mail.’

The words of Ian Stewart, one of the stars of our We Are Christmas 2024 campaign feature film, when discussing Royal Mail at Christmas.

The London driver was invited to take part in the film, which sees colleagues dancing along to Elton John’s chart-topping Step into Christmas, thanks to his work as a presenter on RMtv throughout the year.

The We Are Christmas film is being used to help inspire our people to make it the best Peak yet for our customers.

Ian, who works from Princess Royal Distribution Centre and is also remembered as our first official London Marathon runner when fundraising for British Heart Foundation, said: ‘The film was something different compared to my normal job of driving. I like doing something different, getting out and to push myself.

‘It was fun and nice meeting some of my fellow RMtv presenters and some other new faces – it was like being on a film set!’

Ian understands the sentiment behind our film and is firmly of the view Royal Mail truly matters at this time of the year.

‘Christmas time gets really busy and I like knowing we’re really helping,’ he said. ‘It would be hard to have Christmas without Royal Mail because we deliver so much stuff and I like knowing I’m a part of that.

‘Royal Mail means people have their Christmas. We’re a vital part.’
