#PicturePerfect winner

The latest #PicturePerfect competition welcomes a new winner – Scottish Postie, Jacqueline Laurenson who has won this month’s November competition with her stunning winter scene!
November’s theme, Christmas at Royal Mail, brought out much creativity, and Jacqueline’s entry stood out gaining 74 votes for the breathtaking shot of a snow-covered Shetland landscape with our one of red vans front and centre.
Here’s what Jacqueline had to say about her win:
‘Winning #PicturePerfect feels absolutely fantastic! I'm really excited and grateful for the opportunity. As for my prize of choice, it has to be vouchers to use towards our trip to London next year as it’s very expensive travelling from Shetland.’
‘My photo of the snow scene was taken whilst I was out on delivery in my local area, surrounded by a blanket of snow. The stillness of the moment struck me, and I wanted to capture that sense of calm and the magic of fresh snowfall, reminding everyone of the simple joys in life’ said Jacqueline.
When asked about what she loves most about her role as a postie, Jacqueline shared:
‘My favourite thing about the sights I see as a postie is the variety and beauty of the landscapes I encounter every day. From charming croft houses to stunning countryside views, each route offers something unique. I love how the changing seasons bring new colours and textures, making every day feel like a new adventure."
As Christmas approaches, Jacqueline finds joy in the festive spirit at Royal Mail:
‘What I love most about Royal Mail at Christmas time is the sense of community. It’s a special time when people come together and I feel proud to be part of that connection. The festive spirit is contagious, and there’s something magical about delivering Christmas messages.’
Keep an eye for our penultimate competition at the end of December.
