Countdown to Christmas day 9
Royal Mail Chief Executive Officer, Emma Gilthorpe, has been reflecting on our Peak period so far and what we must prioritise to make it the best one yet in the final two weeks.
As Emma says, ‘it’s no exaggeration to say We Are Christmas’ and, in her first Peak, she has been to more than 30 different locations to experience it for herself.
In this video update, Emma recognises how we’re doing, the importance of rewarding our people utilising the Countdown to Christmas calendars and how we fared for volumes across the busy Black Friday and Cyber Monday period.
Emma also reflects on the quality and safety challenges brought about by adverse weather conditions.
