Helping Exeter excel
Our Parcel Sortation Machines (PSMs) have vastly increased our efficiency in sorting parcels and we currently sort over 80% of our parcels automatically.
This year, the business has invested in a further three new PSMs, adding to the existing 36 PSMs we have successfully deployed around the UK.
Following Leeds and Plymouth’s successful deployments, Exeter Mail Centre went live with its first PSM last month - just in time for the increased Peak parcel volumes.
Providing further parcel automation capability in the South West is important for us to be able to compete more effectively for business and meet the demands of our customers.
We visited the team in Exeter as Peak gets into full swing, to see the PSM in action at a vital time for this Plant – and the business.
