Christmas cast – ‘Jamira’

Continuing to profile the colleagues who made our We Are Christmas film.

‘We’re Santa’s little helpers, making sure we deliver Christmas.’

The words of Amira Rahmoune, one of the stars of our We Are Christmas 2024 campaign feature film, when discussing Royal Mail at Christmas.

Amira joined her Royal Mail ‘bestie’ – and part of the ‘Jamira’ double act – Jade Finch, to take part in the film, which sees colleagues dancing along to Elton John’s chart-topping Step into Christmas, thanks to their role as presenters of RMtv.

The We Are Christmas film is being used to help inspire our people to make it the best Peak yet for our customers. It’s also now on Royal Mail’s external social channels in this final push so that customers know its us they should send their late gifts with. Amira said of her role in the film: ‘I wanted to get involved because it’s always the best part of the year – Christmas is magical and I love being a part of it.

‘It was really exciting getting to see the set and the dancers – and also filming some RMtv behind the scenes, too.’

You can watch Amira presenting that. Click here to see a peak behind-the-scenes on one of the filming days to get an understanding of how it all came together.

Jade added: ‘I think it was a really great opportunity. I’d never been on a set doing a film before, so it was really different to what I am used to. I met lots of great people.’

The duo, who are both Customer Operations Managers in Hertfordshire, are in the final throes of helping their teams deliver Christmas for our customers.

And they know just what it means.

‘Royal Mail means the absolute world to our customers because it’s us getting them their presents,’ says Jade, of Waltham Cross Delivery Office. ‘It’s the Christmas cheer that brings everyone together and we’re all working towards delivering Christmas. It’s just a really fantastic time of the year,’

Amira, of Bushey Delivery Office, adds: ‘Royal Mail is very important to people, especially at Christmas – our busiest time of the year.

‘We’re out there, Santa’s little helpers making sure we deliver Christmas.’
