Peak has started
This week, Central and Commercial function colleagues are supporting frontline colleagues – and the head of our operation is chief amongst them.
Alistair Cochrane, Chief Operations Officer, is one of thousands of colleagues lending an extra hand in our sites across the country this week.
For Alistair, it’s very much part of his day job, and he was delighted to be on hand in Hinckley, while paying tribute to the others who are stepping out from their usual roles.
‘Our Central and Commercial teams are out in the business this week and they’re out assisting, they’re out helping and it’s really, really appreciated,’ says Alistair.
‘We need to appreciate everything that our posties are doing on a day-to-day basis and coming in to assist brings that really into focus for us.’
Alistair met with colleagues in Hinckley, where managers shared how they’re engaging with this year’s Peak recognition scheme and We are Christmas campaign.
‘It’s really important to be out in the operation,’ said Alistair. ‘Peak is starting to happen now, the volumes are starting to increase, so I’m trying to assist the team.’
