An extra special delivery from Buckingham Palace was made to a customer who celebrated their 100-year birthday.

David Baxter, who serves as the Court Postmaster at Buckingham Palace ventured from Westminster to his hometown of Leyton to call in on Rose Evans during her tea club birthday party. Rose, being a royalist, was elated when she was hand delivered her birthday card signed personally by King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

‘It’s so important that we deliver these personal messages to the older generation as they have been there through the reign of our late Queen’ said David Baxter.  

While a once-in-a-lifetime delivery for Rose, this card is one in thousands that arrive signed by our Royal Highness for notable occasions such as milestone birthdays and wedding anniversaries.
