Christmas cast - Gibbos

‘We’ve delivered Christmas for 500 years - this time of year is special for us’.

The words of Paul Gibbons, one of the stars of our We are Christmas 2024 campaign feature film, when discussing Royal Mail at Christmas.

The Swindon postman was invited to take part in the film, which sees colleagues dancing along to Elton John’s chart-topping Step into Christmas, thanks to his work as a presenter on RMtv throughout the year.

His fellow postie and now wife, Kim, ‘stepped in’ too, for her first starring role on our cameras.

The We are Christmas film is being used to help inspire our people to make it the best Peak yet for our customers.

Paul, whose own Christmas wish this year is for Burnley Football Club to return to the Premier League, said: ‘It was fabulous. Having genuine Royal Mail and Parcelforce colleagues in the film gave it authenticity, the fact we do this job day in day out.

‘It’s a special time at Christmas - we deliver a lot of things to make lots of people happy.’

Kim, who also works from Swindon, hopes the film captures the spirit of what we do at this time of the year.

‘Royal Mail means everything at Christmas,’ said Kim, who hopes for health and happiness this year. ‘If it wasn’t for Royal Mail, Christmas wouldn’t be what people were wishing for.’
