‘It’s a great atmosphere to be in – I love it.’

The words of Anne-Marie Pollard-Vearnals, one of the stars of our We are Christmas 2024 campaign feature film, when discussing Royal Mail at Christmas.

Stockport Driver Anne-Marie was invited to take part as in the film, which sees colleagues dancing along to Elton John’s chart-topping Step into Christmas, thanks to her efforts bringing your Royal Mail news throughout the year as one of our regular RMtv presenters.

The We are Christmas film is being used to help inspire our people to make it the best Peak yet for our customers.

Anne-Marie said: ‘It was something very different to RMtv! It wasn’t just reporting in front of a camera, we were directed to dance and just have loads of fun together.

‘We did lots of dancing alongside some professional dancers and all of our mates – we’re all mates now!’

Anne-Marie, who says her own Christmas wish is a pair of fast running trainers, believes the film demonstrates exactly what Royal Mail is all about at Christmas.

‘Royal Mail at Christmas is everything,’ she said. ‘It’s the red van, it’s the red of Santa.

‘It’s so busy at Christmas but it’s loads of fun, with colleagues getting dressed up and giving it that extra 100%. It’s a great atmosphere to be in – I love it.'
