To all my Royal Mail colleagues,

I wanted to take a moment to personally thank each of you for the overwhelming support and kind messages we have received in recent weeks. My family and I have been truly blown away by your kindness.

We have received messages and donations from all over the country, and I have read every single card and note. Your words have meant more to me than you will ever know. The Southport office, in particular, has been nothing short of extraordinary. It was a privilege to have them play a part in Elsie's special day, she would have loved it and been so proud.

Jenni, Rosie, and I are living through a nightmare we can never wake up from. Our world has been shattered. That day, we didn’t just lose our precious little girl, but our best friend. However, your messages have brought us comfort as we try to navigate through this unimaginable pain.

Jen and I have officially established a charitable foundation, “Elsie’s Story”. This charity is our way of giving back and making a meaningful difference to the lives of other children, all in Elsie’s name.

As we move forward, we would be incredibly grateful if you would consider “Elsie’s Story” as your chosen cause when taking on any fundraising activities, however big or small. Your support would mean the world to us and the children we aim to help.

To each and every one of you who has contributed donations and taken the time to send us a message, thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.
