Support & Rehabilitation

Support and rehabilitation to get colleagues the help they need with drug and alcohol dependencies.

Royal Mail is building a culture of safety and wellbeing across the business, and as part of this, we are introducing a new drug and alcohol policy and procedures. We are doing this in a phased approached, starting with what matters most; providing support and help to those that need it.

Our new independent Support and Rehabilitation Service provided by ‘Aquarius’ in partnership with our Occupational health provider is now available to all Royal Mail colleagues. Hear from Alistair Cochrane, Chief Operating officer,  and others, about why this is so important to Royal Mail in this short film.

If you’re concerned about your alcohol or drug use, support is available. Speak to your Line Manager in confidence to make a referral to our new rehabilitation service and take the first step towards a healthier you.

If you would like to find out more about this service and what it involves, please go to the PeopleApp and follow the guide below:

Royal Mail is committed to providing a safe environment for all its colleagues and customers. There are support services offering a range of other support which can be access via the Employee Assistance Programme on 0345 266 5060 and more details of all our broad range of Wellbeing services can be found here.
