World Post Day

We’re putting our posties in the spotlight for the next edition of our ever-popular Workplace-exclusive #PicturePerfect competition.

In honour of World Post Day – which takes place on Wednesday 9 October – our monthly photography competition is this time looking for snaps of Royal Mail’s posties.

It could be a selfie – if you’re a postie – a shot of one of your colleagues, an image from the past or perhaps capture the postie who delivers to you.

This year’s World Post Day, which is marked by the Universal Postal Union, aims to bring awareness to the post’s role in the everyday lives of people and businesses. It’s a perfect opportunity to celebrate the wonderful posties who contribute to our business.

To take part, upload your picture to Team Royal Mail using #pictureperfect #worldpostday – just remember to include both hashtags to ensure your submission is eligible.

Helpful competition tips:

• The five most-liked entries will make the final poll
• There will be one wildcard entry – so you still have a chance, even if you don’t make the top five!
• The #PicturePerfect competition will close on the last day of the month. Any submissions made after this deadline will not count
• You can enter as many times as you like but only one entry per person will be counted in the poll. The picture with the most likes will be selected.
• Every entry must include both hashtags and be posted in the Team Royal Mail group – this ensures your submission is eligible and it can be found.

The October competition is open between Tuesday 1 October and 12pm Thursday 31 October.

The final winner, as voted by colleagues in a poll at the end of the competition, is given the choice of a prize – an iPad or £350 worth of shopping vouchers.
