A blazing squad
When a fire broke out on Huyton Industrial Estate in Liverpool, our Parcelforce depot close to the site was forced to close. While our depot was unscathed, the fire crews required close proximity to fight the blaze and deal with the aftermath, restricting access to the PFW depot.
For four days parcels were diverted around the region and teams at Stoke, Manchester, Preston and Deeside depots supported colleagues when they needed it most.
