Number one nature shot

In June we collaborated with #StepsToZero for our #PicturePerfect competition theme and called on your nature shots.

With an impressive 92 votes, Pete Mainey’s Terrific Tryfan was crowned the winning shot.

‘I had taken a solo trip down to the Ogwen Valley at the end of last October on one of my rest days to capture some sunrise images’ said Pete.

‘I went to a location that I hadn't visited before and was fortunate to capture my winning entry, which was one of my favourite images from the day.’

This is Pete’s second win of the #PicturePerfect competition, and he encourages more colleagues to get involved: ‘Over the 12 months there are so many different themes, and everyone generally takes a camera around with them every day - in the form of their mobile phone.’

‘Think outside the box as there is always another way to interpret the theme to sometimes give a unique perspective!’
