Flexible and robust

We are delighted to announce that we have recently renewed our contract with Inditex, who own renowned brands like Zara, Massimo Dutti and Bershka. The two-year contract is valued at over c£40m over two years taking us to 2026.
Royal Mail is Inditex’s single largest provider, double that of the next nearest provider, and we expect to deliver 6.3 million outbound parcels and 1.3 million returns per year. The quality of service during 2024 and doorstep delivery experience really helped the negotiations, so a big thank you to everyone.
A bit about Inditex: The company is headquartered in Galicia, Spain. It operates over 7,200 stores in 93 markets worldwide, has a turnover of €32.5 billion, a market capitalisation of $149.86 billion and employs 160,000 people.
We’ve received a really positive testimonial from Robert Ridpath-Freire (Head of On-Line Logistics at Inditex), which you can watch in full here.
He comments: ‘Royal Mail is our single largest delivery partner. We choose them for speed, reliability, quality of service and their operational flexibility and robustness, particularly during peak.
‘Royal Mail collects from our UK distribution centre, plus 75 different stores for our six brands operating in the UK.
‘Royal Mail’s strong points are long-term employees, security and reliability. We get very few claims but when we do have the need to claim they are duly dealt with and we get good response.’
