Men's heart health

As part of Men’s Health Week, we’re raising awareness of health conditions which predominantly affect men.
Did you know? 75% of premature deaths from heart disease are male.
Heart disease is a major cause of death in the UK. Whilst family history and lifestyle factors increase your risk, making changes like eating a balanced diet, being physically active, giving up smoking, controlling blood cholesterol and sugar levels can all reduce your risk.
Take Action: use the heart age tool to understand your risk and take the first step to improve your heart health.
In this film, hear from Emily Smartt, Health Partnerships Manager at British Heart Foundation on why Men’s Health is such an important topic and how you can access support to improve your heart health.
