Men's Health Week

Let's Talk Men's Health

This week is Men’s Health Week, an opportunity to kickstart conversations on the realities of health issues which predominantly affect men. Click here to hear from Health and Wellbeing Manager, Dan Clarke on the importance of this week.

Did you know? One in five men die before the age of 65 in the UK

With 104,000 men at Royal Mail and an average age of 49, many colleagues will be at risk of having or developing a serious health condition - that’s why we’re launching Let’s Talk Men’s Health, a brand-new men’s health campaign.

We know men can find it uncomfortable talking about their health, so we'll help with more:

  • Awareness of the health topics significantly impacting men and symptoms to look out for
  • Education – so everyone can understand their health risks using Help@hand and other services
  • Support - everyone knows where to go for support and the importance of acting early

Get involved

Keep men’s health conversations going after Men’s Health Week, supported by your Wellbeing Ambassador (recruit one if you don’t have one in your office) and using charities and partners.
