Happy Pride!

As we celebrate Pride Month, we invite colleagues to join our LGBTQ+ and Friends Employee Resource Group (ERG).

The LGBTQ+ and Friends ERG is a safe space and a growing community for colleagues and allies. It aims to break barriers, so every colleague feels empowered and comfortable being themselves.

The ERG aims to empower, change the culture, educate, encourage, and celebrate.

Steve Selby is the Field Operations Director for the Central Directorate and the executive sponsor of the ERG.

“As the exec sponsor, I am determined to advocate for this group with senior leadership and promote the fantastic initiatives I know are already have in place. I want to work to improve the business culture, promoting inclusivity from top to bottom across the business.

As a senior operational manager, I am passionate about raising the profile of the group across frontline populations and removing stigma and raising awareness in every site. This group can be a driving force for cultural change within our business, celebrating identities, and encouraging members of the community to feel seen and empowered.

I have been blown away by the great work this group has already done in recent years and it’s important that we celebrate our successes together, whilst building a stronger network for the future.”
