The Yorkshire Postie
Toby Dawtrey from Halifax Delivery Office is a photographer, postie and proud Yorkshireman aka @theyorkshirepostie on Instagram.
Toby launched his Instagram account after losing his close friend Paulo, and uses it to share photos and talk about the everyday joys he’s rediscovered being a postie. He’s also connected with a community of like-minded people who are interested in walking, photography and the outdoors.
Last year, he decided to self-publish a book of his photographs, also called The Yorkshire Postie, in celebration of his home county.
Toby is donating £5 from each book sale to Yorkshire Cancer Research in memory of Paulo and has already raised over £1,200.
