Quality of Service results

Today we published our annual Quality of Service results for 2023-24.
Across the year, 74.5% of First Class mail arrived within one day and 92.4% of Second Class mail within three working days.
Both figures represent an improvement year-on-year and reflect a series of changes to encourage steady progress.
Ofcom has now announced it will commence an investigation into our performance, the results of which are expected later this year – we will engage with the regulator throughout their investigation.
Improving the reliability of our service remains one of our top priorities. We acknowledge more must be done, and we will continue to work hard to deliver the standard of service our customers expect.
