Continue the conversation

The team in Edinburgh Mail Centre recently unveiled their new and improved wellbeing room for their colleagues on site in perfect timing for Mental Health Awareness Week.
‘Many people don’t want to talk openly about their mental health, and this is why #MHAW24 is so important, it helps colleagues to know what support is available, how to access it and to normalise wellbeing conversations’ said Lead Wellbeing Ambassador Lead, Jennifer Turish from Portsmouth Delivery Office.
In this film we hear from the colleagues at Edinburgh Mail Centre about why not only is this such an important week, but also why it’s important to focus on your wellbeing, everyday.
‘Checking in on my wellbeing every day is important, it helps me to reflect on how I am feeling and to understand when things around me are having an impact on my overall wellbeing. For me eating healthy, exercising and socialising with friends and family, all play a significant part in supporting my wellbeing.
‘Being a Lead Wellbeing Ambassador I encourage everyone to take some time out to make wellbeing a priority, take a look at the free, confidential resources available, from the Your Wellbeing title on the People App, Help@hand app and the Wellbeing Employee Assistance Programme.’
