A good Easter deed

The team at Parcelforce London Central have created an Easter tradition of ‘creating positive experiences’ in their community at this time of year.
For a second year in row, the team collected an impressive 218 eggs from colleagues to deliver to over 200 children at a local foster home in Camden town.
‘The PFW colleagues are passionate about helping children who could do with some positivity’ said Operations Manager, Casey Gauntlett.
‘There’s always a good buzz around helping others and the team always get stuck in during special occasions including Christmas.’
For those who are inspired by this community spirit and would like to create something similar, Casey suggests rounding up a supportive team and spreading the word in your office.
‘There are always children and those in the community who need some extra support and anyone can do it. It just takes one person to take the lead and share the message, I’m lucky to have my helpful teammates Chelsea James and Sukhvinder Takhar/Suki.’
Delivery and Collections Manager, Gurpal Hundal said ‘These activities and fundraisers can provide essential resources to improve quality of life, they but are also great for team building, and this in turn fosters a sense of fulfilment, purpose and connection to their peers or broader society.’
