First parcel lockers
More convenience for customers.
The first of our parcel lockers have started to be used by customers and colleagues in the Coventry area.
Our new customer drop-off option is aiming for 1,500 Royal Mail lockers to be in use before the end of the year, with eventual plans for 3,000 nationally.
This will enable our customers posting pre-paid items to drop them off in selected lockers operated by global parcel locker operator, Quadient.
Anna Malley, Out of Home Director, said: ‘Royal Mail will for the first time make parcel lockers an option for our customers dropping off parcels.
‘This is part of our ongoing commitment to provide customers with more choice for how they use our services.’
