Women's health support

International Women's Day

While we are shining the light on women are Royal Mail this week, there is recognition and support for women at all times of the year. The relevant support available includes wellbeing support such as Let’s Talk Menopause – a campaign which raises awareness of the topic and provides education.

We are proud to see the Let’s Talk Menopause campaign continue to grow.  From its launch in 2022 the campaign has helped to raise awareness of menopause symptoms, normalise wellbeing conversations and support everyone.

If you are experiencing menopause symptoms, supporting someone who is or wanting to learn more, the Let’s Talk Menopause campaign is for you.

LTM is supported by a network of local Meno-Mates who help colleagues understand the symptoms and how they can impact colleagues, help raise awareness of support and resources available and promote the importance of open wellbeing conversations.  Everyone is welcome to join the Meno-Mate community, if you are interested in joining the network head over to the Meno-Mate Community Workplace group and join the group today.

Each month menopause cafes are held virtually, which provides all colleagues a safe space to share experiences and ask questions.

Hear from Katy Scrivener, Delivery Deployment Manager, on her experience at the recent menopause café: ‘It’s amazing to find a space so supportive, and non-judgemental. I’ve had several suggestions given that have definitely made my menopause journey much more manageable.’

For more information and how to join the next café, visit the Let’s Talk Menopause Workplace group.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day this week, we are pleased to announce we have recently become a Menopause Friendly Employer and have partnered with Henpicked to support us to develop the Let’s Talk Menopause campaign even further.
