'Support has been there'

This week’s Feel-good Friday recognises two special occasions, Neurodiversity Celebration and Autism Awareness.
In this short film, we sit down with Parcelforce Delivery and Collections Manager and RMtv Presenter, Sorita Bartlett, her husband Wayne and their 12-year-old son, Cahilo/ Kai as they share their personal journey with neurodiversity and autism diagnosis.
Thanks to her openness and solution-based mindset, Sorita has been able to get the right support to help her balance work around supporting Kai, all while progressing in her career at Royal Mail and Parcelforce.
Watch this video to hear more.
We have CPD Accredited Neuro-Inclusion mentors and ambassadors within our organisation who are ready to support managers and colleagues that are neurodivergent. If you or someone you know could benefit from this support, please do reach out to DEI@royalmail.com.
For colleagues who are neurodivergent and seeking longer-term mentoring and coaching relationships, our mentors and ambassadors are here to assist. This opportunity is open to all colleagues who may benefit.
Feel free to get in touch with our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team for further details or to initiate the process.
You can also get support and join relative conversations with our employee resource groups; enAble and Caring@ORM.
We know there more heart-warming stories out there. If you know of someone who deserves the spotlight, please share on Workplace or email your news to rmcommunications@royalmail.com.
