‘My mum is one of a kind’

We often hear colleagues say that their team are like family away from home, and in some cases the team really is family!
After 12 years as a postie at Royal Mail, Tracy Needham recently brought her son Michael into the fold at Peterhead Delivery Office, creating a family of posties.
‘Michael has been my rock in recent years and I’d be totally lost without him’ said Tracey. ‘We’ve been working together just a month. Michael is now also a postie and I couldn't be prouder or more delighted to have him close by at work.’
During Michael’s onboarding process at Peterhead Delivery Office he has found great support within his team and had an excellent role model in his mum, Tracey.
‘My mum has helped me through life and always been there for me. She supported me with my introduction to Royal Mail’ said Michael.
Michael describes his mum as; loving, caring and kind .
‘My mum is one of a kind and she does her job really well. She is very helpful at work and helps others when needed.’
