NAW 2024

National Apprenticeships Week 2024

Today marks the start of National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) 2024, the 17th annual week-long celebration to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

At Royal Mail, we’re proud to have been invited to join the NAW Supporters Club for the second year in a row, a recognition of our work to enable and support apprenticeships.

During the week we will be:

  • Showcasing some of our brilliant apprentices across Royal Mail
  • Launching our 2024 apprenticeship recruitment campaign with the opportunity to register your interest for our latest programmes
  • Encouraging colleagues to join in our Apprentice Recognition Challenge using #ApprenticeshipRecognition24

Follow #NAW2024 on Workplace throughout the week to be a part of the celebrations.

We are also proud to be outwardly sharing our support through our NAW postmark, running across all of our machines this week. This raises awareness of apprenticeships across the UK in a way that only we can.

Charlotte Wakeham, Head of Future Talent says: “At Royal Mail, we have a unique opportunity to offer a wide portfolio of apprenticeships across the different teams that enable us to deliver for our customers. This week I’m looking forward to spotlighting some of our apprentices, both past and present who have grown their skills through an apprenticeship alongside their role. I’d encourage everybody to get involved and look out for the 2024 apprenticeship opportunities that we’ll be sharing across the week as we can all play a key role in sharing with friends, family and colleagues to raise awareness.”

Keep an eye on Workplace throughout the week to find out more about what we can offer for people looking to start or change their career.
