December’s #PicturePerfect winner

Regular #PicturePerfect participant, Andrew Rodger, was nearing the end of his round just outside the village of Egton, on the North Yorkshire Moors by Whitby,q when he captured his winning photograph.

‘The shot I submitted shows even in the worst conditions we always try our utmost to get the deliveries out and in the hands of our customers, not only at Christmas but all-year round’ said Andrew.

‘I wanted to showcase how everyone at Royal Mail works as a team, striving each and every day to make the customers happy.’

Andrew has entered the #PicturePerfect competition most months since its initial launch and has now bagged his first win, prizing him £350 worth of shopping vouchers.

‘I have never won anything this good, ‘ he explained. ‘So I’m still coming to terms with the fact I actually won when there were so many good photos to choose from.’

The competition gives colleagues a glimpse into each other’s views across the nation from a different angle.

‘When we are out and about, posties see the beauty of the world around them in all weather conditions, with most having a phone with a camera on, it only takes a second to capture the wonderful vista that surrounds us all,’ said Andrew.
