This festive season, our national charity partner British Heart Foundation is urging people to shop either online or in one of its 680 UK shops and stores for some great gifts! Here’s three reasons why you should try it:
- Shopping in charity shops can often feel like a treasure trove. You can easily stumble across little hidden gems and find yourself smiling at the steal.
- Every pound raised in the charity’s shops and online stores helps support the 7.6 million people living with heart and circulatory conditions.
- By shopping pre-loved in a BHF store you’re making a better choice for the planet. In a year, BHF save over 56,000 tonnes of goods from going to waste, including 186,000 sofas and armchairs. In one year, they resell 12,000 tonnes of preloved clothes.
