Feel-good Friday

After a visit to Samuel Pepys school, local special needs school, Gym Manager, Johnny Day based at Peterborough Mail Centre, felt compelled to raise funds to help with extra equipment in the run up to Christmas and beyond.
On Sunday, 3 December, Johnny got on his running shoes to brave the icey conditions to complete a six-hour run covering over 30 miles at Ferry Meadows country park in Peterborough to fundraise for a good cause.
‘I visited the school and left feeling very touched and humbled by the amazing work that goes on there to help the children’ said Johnny.
‘I wanted to help raise funds to buy extra equipment especially during the Christmas holiday as the money will help revamp the quiet room.’
Johnny is also supporting those close to him - what he is most looking forward to for Christmas at Royal Mail is welcoming new members in the gym and helping them make lifestyle changes.
