What’s your Christmas personality?

Take this quiz to reveal what your Christmas personality type is!

Maybe you are always the first one of your friends and family to send out their Christmas cards and know what presents you’re buying as early as August? You’re probably an ‘Organised Olivia’, like 22 per cent of people who took part in a poll of 2,000 adults who celebrate the festive season.

Or perhaps you’re a Sentimental Sally, who cherishes every Christmas card and whose favourite moment is putting the tree up with the whole family, like 14 per cent of people.

We’ve teamed up with Dr Linda Papadopoulos to help identify the different Christmas personality types. Dr Linda Papadopoulos said: ‘Personality types that others identified with include ‘Charitable Charlies’, who often volunteer their time to help charities that are meaningful to them, and make sure the money from all the Christmas cards they buy goes to good causes.

And ‘Digital Davids’, who only send Christmas wishes through texts and emails and order all their presents online.

Fifty-five per cent of 18 to 34-year-olds said using technology to send festive wishes is easier for them, however, Digital Davids should be aware that 84 per cent of people surveyed agreed that sending a real Christmas card is more sentimental than a digital one.

Eight in 10 also said they’ll likely send cards this year – with only one in 20 claiming they’ve not sent a physical, hand-written card for two years.

Nick Landon, Chief Commercial Officer said: ‘We know that sending cards remains a much-loved tradition even in a digital world - about twice the amount of mail is posted in December compared with other months. Whether you are super organised and have already written and sent all your cards or you are still picking the perfect cards for loved ones, it is clear to see the vast majority of people love receiving a Christmas card in the post and it remains an important way of spreading the festive spirit.’
