Black Friday is just a few days away, kicking-off our peak period of increased mail where we expect to deliver around twice as many parcels as other months.

Thanks to early preparation, we’re ready to the handle the numbers as additional space, seasonal employees and extra vehicles have been put in place see us through. Not forgetting the incredible teamwork happening in units over recent weeks.

Black Friday, the day of huge discounts, is of course an opportunity for a bargain but that’s just one of the reasons people plan to buy something online during the sales. According our research, the combination of the fear of missing out/ FOMO and getting Christmas shopping done early is the driving force behind these purchases.

Our customers are an organised bunch as more than a third shared that they like to get presents sorted early and another third say it helps them to spread the cost of buying Christmas presents.
