If it was easy...

... everyone would do it!

With competition in the parcels market as fierce as ever, we’re challenged every day to be the number one carrier of choice.

At peak, that increasing competition is never more apparent. We know our customers make decisions as to their choice of carrier with peak performance in mind.

The good news? Plenty are saying we’re number one.

The Northern Echo has reported that its readers has deemed ‘Royal Mail the best parcel delivery firm in the country’.

South Wales Argus has similarly disclosed how we scored 37% of votes in a reader’s poll, compared to 27% for second-placed Amazon.

Of other competitors, Yodel comes off least favourable, with just 3% of the vote, with DPD (19%) and Evri (14%) are also part of the poll of almost 1,000 readers.

It comes following the release of The Citizens Advice parcels league table, which placed us first this year – tied with Amazon Logistics.

We’re now in week three of our quality of service peak incentive scheme. We’re aiming to meet 98% USO delivery point coverage and – from next week until 23 December – 95% combined Tracked products performance.

We know they are stretching targets and need teams to work together and go above and beyond to achieve them. If it was easy, everyone would do it. But Royal Mail quality is what our customers expect. We can prove why we’re rated number one.
