Free health checks
Statistically many colleagues could be at risk of a serious health condition and be totally unaware, so we are delighted that this week, in partnership with Energy Fitness Professionals who manage our 37 in-house gyms, we launch a national programme of health fairs at our onsite gym locations.
How do the health fairs work?
- 30-minute health checks are completed on-site by the gym manager including blood pressure, cholesterol and body composition checks and a lifestyle assessment.
- Individuals will receive a personalised digital report and be able to discuss the results to understand their health risk and how to make improvements.
- Cost is free for existing gym members or £10 for non-members. Appointments can be booked online or in person with the gym manager.
- Health fairs launch at Glasgow Mail Centre, Midlands Super Hub and HWDC this week and will remain at these launch sites until January 2024 when they will move on. It will take 12-18 months to rotate around all our gym site locations.
