Upping our numbers

As we gear up our seasonal drive to deliver Christmas to our customers, we’re pulling out all the stops to get you set up for success.

We’re hiring seasonal colleagues to join us in mail centres across the nation, who will support us throughout our peak period up until January 2024. You’ll also notice an increase in the number of trucks and vans – this includes Parcelforce.

By increasing the number of colleagues on the frontline and available resources, we’ll be able to deliver quality service during our busiest time of the year - as we serve our local communities for Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas.

Each year we see an increase of mail and parcels coming through our offices at this time of year, and with that comes a higher demand for speedy delivery. Ensuring we’ve got enough colleagues, space and vehicles is key to delivering a perfect peak.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more detail on the measures that have been put in place to support you.
