£230,975 raised for BHF

The final Great Big Fundraising Challenge results are in, and we are over the moon to be able to announce that together we have raised a phenomenal £230,975 for British Heart Foundation.
This is an amazing achievement with considerable impact – enabling BHF to now take significant steps in relation to the Community Hearts Programme.
Down to your incredible fundraising efforts, the costs have been covered for a year of the development of BHF’s Classroom RevivR tool. This tool has been developed to teach young people the essential skills of CPR and defibrillation in their classrooms, using just a mobile phone or tablet. Over the four years of our partnership, we are aiming to train 1 million young people using this tool, and your amazing efforts will enable us to do this. Furthermore, you have also helped us make our Heart Helpline free to call for the next year, meaning that those who want to speak to one of our specialist cardiac nurses for support will not have to spend a penny.
Please join us in congratulating the two teams that took the coveted titles of:
- Team that raised the most – Team North East (NE Penny Counts)
- Team that raised the most per head – Team Analytics and Data
A huge well done to both teams, such an incredible amount of energy and effort went into achieving these top spots.
BHF ambassador David Seaman, who himself lives with a heart condition, has shared this message to thank everyone at Royal Mail and Parcelforce for your amazing fundraising efforts.
