Jesse Norman, MP for Hereford and South Herefordshire, visited Hereford Delivery Office last week, Jesse Norman, MP for Hereford and South Herefordshire, visited Hereford Delivery Office last week, where many of the fleet are electric (EVs), to find out more about Royal Mail’s Steps to Zero.
At Royal Mail, we have over 5,000 EVs and are working on other low carbon solutions, including transitioning HGV vehicles at select sites to run on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) instead of diesel and trialling other vehicles technologies, to decarbonise the operation.
Jesse said “we want to see companies investing and focusing on improving the atmosphere and lowering emissions”.
