Coffee pod recycling

Roger Roy, a postie from Orpington Delivery Office in Kent, spotted an opportunity for us to use our Parcel Collect network to pick up Nespresso coffee pods for recycling.

When Roger contacted Nespresso to discuss the opportunity, our Sales team were already on the case, but Roger’s approach meant he was to become the star of the show, in Nespresso’s promotional video, launching today.

Parcel Collect provides an ideal opportunity for us to support customer’s recycling services, helping to drive the circular economy.

By having a postie collect direct from a customer’s house, businesses are able to offer their customers an easy way to return items for recycling when they have finished with them. Returned products can then be given a new life, reducing the materials that end up in landfill.
