A real talent

A Lenadoon-based customer recently took the time to get in touch and express her gratitude to agency postie, Dave Stevenson, who really went above and beyond. 

While he was on a round, Dave passed a house in Creeslough Park and proceeded to knock on the door when he heard distress coming from the home. He quickly learned that a mother was trying to help her young child who had injured their head and needed urgent medical assistance.

Dave immediately took control of the situation, assisting the mother, and called an ambulance – all while calming down the other children in the house.

‘Dave was like a superhero that day, the mother said. ‘Since then, some other posties have visited and brought sweets for the children.’

It is helpful acts like these and ongoing kindness that make all the difference in our local communities.
