There’s still time to raise funds and boost your team’s total. Some top tips and reminders in the last week are:

• Every penny counts – pennies make pounds and pounds save lives, and so get the collection tin out and ask colleagues to donate and remind your team about your SponsorMe page.
•  The simple ones are the best –boost your team’s total by running one of these easy fundraising ideas:  wear a sports shirt day, run a bake sale (it is Bake Off season after all), stage a ball and bucket challenge, or hold a guess the number of items in a jar competition.
•  Make sure you have a plan for paying in cash – 29 September is the last day for fundraising events and 6 October is the last day for paying in cash or online funds. Is someone on your site ready to pay in cash that has been collected? You will need your team’s dedicated paying in slips to do so.

Finally, a spotlight on AWARDS.

There has been an incredible amount of effort, energy and enthusiasm for the challenge and there are those people out there that have gone the extra mile who we would love you to nominate for an award. With five categories to choose from, ranging from Dave Devil to Heart Award - get those all-important nominations in by 5pm on 29 September so we can celebrate their brilliance.
