Let’s choose our National Charity Partner

Today we have opened the vote for our National Charity Partner 2022-2026, and can announce that the shortlisted charities going forward to the employee vote are:

  • British Heart Foundation
  • Diabetes UK
  • Heart Research UK

‘Please speak to your teams and encourage them to vote - we want as many people as possible to have their say.’

Here are the charities proposals to help you decide:

British Heart Foundation

“To fund three vital projects through our Community Hearts programme:

  1. Giving one million children CPR training - so they have the skills to save lives.
  2. Placing hundreds of lifesaving community defibrillators where they are needed most.
  3. Supporting thousands of families using our Heart Helpline and provide accessible vital heart health information.”

Diabetes UK

“To fund a Live Well, Be Well programme to create 20+ Live Well Hubs; serving communities who we know need our help most. It will provide information and support that is easy to access, any hour of the day. And we will help one million people understand their risk of developing type 2 diabetes, with its impact on heart health - and know what to do about it.”

Heart Research UK

“To fund a Power in Prevention programme to work with 10,000 young families and take on heart disease. We will support children and parents around the UK with a combination of interactive learning, physical activity sessions and health checks, changing the course of their lives for the better.”
